At last People we might have a Real solution to the rear tyre problem, I have been in contact with L-Futon they are a retread company the Only retreads they do are for bikes, they have Only been in business for about a year. prices are Low he said about $65.00 for a Rocket rear. do not know to much about retreads waiting on some more info, does anyone have any insight about this

Just retreads in general, I am not sold on the idea for a retread for the rear of a Rocket. If a factory tire couldn't take the torque of a Touring how will a retread hold up? Then I think of all the skins that semis throw off and litter the highway with, those are mostly retreads.

I did used to run 18" rear motorcycle radial tyre re-treads on my early '80's sh!t brown naked Suzuki GSX1100 sidecar before I got a GS1000 chair with VW steel rims laced to Motorcycle hubs.
