I installed the left rear dresser bar, and it seems to be flimsy, I installed it per Triumph instructions, is this the norm?

I have not got them myself but seen them and they do appear to be more for show and to protect from fall overs rather than a big off

Yep, I had mine installed prior to delivery by the dealership and unimpressed by how flimsy they are. Most of the movement in mine occurs at the 90 degree bend in the flat piece of steel at the lower end of the dresser bars that bolt to the bike.

Hi Crashpete
Don't know about the rear dresser bars..but I had front engine bars on my first Rocket and they were strong and well made.
I'm pretty sure Triumph changed the design and thickness..you may have the original design.
Someone will chime with more knowledge than me
