Boys, I've got a question.
I bought a sissy bar/ luggage rack off ebay, off one of them wrecked R3's they're always parting out.
I got the sissy bar, luggage rack and the chrome pieces that are "L" shaped that the back rest slides into and the luggage rack mounts to.
Question is, do I need some new chrome fender rails (that slide behind the top of the shocks), or will my stock ones work.
If the stock ones work apparently I don't have the right bolts or something cause I ain't gettin it done.
Any advice from someone who has added a sissybar to a standard would sure help.
Thanks,

Yes... the sissy bar kit comes with different fender rails. I've got an entire used kit in my junk pile, rails and tall sissy bar.

What cha want for them rails Hombre,
I've got a 36" tall twisted metal sissybar made,
like we had back in the day, you remember..:)
also got my fender bobbed and a custom tail light,
it ain't one of them floppy *****taillights like we use to run,
this ones LED, I think it'll look decent, we'll see.
I'm takin her back to the late 60's early 70's.
Its a look I ain't seen on a R3 yet.
No extended springer though, I ain't that hardcore anymore,
but I'll sure take them rails off you, want to swap something, or paypal, whatever your call, and thanks.
Assuming you don't mind parting out your junk pile that is.:D

I'll make you a good price on the whole kit, but can't sell just the rails. Who would want the rest of the kit without them? Will PM you tomorrow afternoon.
