Predators and PC3

I'm running tripple K&N's with the preds and got a 2nd hand PC3.

On the PC3 theres a thin black wire that comes out of the loom about 10" up from the unit. Being black does this go to ground?

Performance wise, how many plates is it best to run in the preds with a short can?

From the installation doc:


5 Attach the ground wire from the
PCIII to the negative side of the
battery (Fig. B).

This is the black wire you are referring to.

Dunno about PC3 mate, but no plates and no end cap work fer me. :wink:
