Bit the bullet and got one

plxfront.jpg

mounted in a mirror enclosure(mirror taken out of course!!)painted the inside matt black and used rubber to hold it about an inch or so in to cut down on sun glare. Aluminium bracket made up for bar mounting with rubber to grip the bar

plxbuttons.jpg

control buttons mounted on the left side of the bars
plxcomp.jpg

mounted the sensor unit next to the stebel under the left side cover, two strips of foam and a cable tie to the frame tube

tested it out on a 1000k ride, works great :)

no splicing on my R3T, except to get 12v to the module, plugs straight in to the obd2 socket

That is way cool! You can just toggle thru the different read outs . . . what a neat little device.

That would come in handy when tuning. You can actually see what the engine is doing and make adjustments with Tune Boy!

Course you could also bust your ass watching it too much too.

Cool find! Nice installation job too! :D

It's done

Very eazy to instal you only need the space to hide the software not wather proof
I've took out the tool box and it's sitting on the battery the bungee stap secure the hole thing gently

Instal the meter temporarly with what i had on hand at the time but will fix it at home
