If I were to install a pcv w/ auto tune , stock pipes and air, would I need to remap, and if so by who ( dealer or some dyno guy)?? would I see an increase in power by just doing that or spend $$$$ and do Jars & air ?? just askin' would like to do 240 pack, but $$$ is tight, you know , retired and all that stuff.

Power commander certainly claims an increase in horsepower just by installing it alone. If you have autotune - technically - you would not need to have your bike dyno'd as the autotune is supposed to take care of that for you. Power commander comes with the default stock setup tune and has most variations of air intake + exhaust tunes by way of downloadable software. I don't think you would see much of an appreciable increase in power with power commander alone. Power commander + triple filters + after market exhaust are the best bang for your buck when it comes to an increase in power it seems.

I have bought the PC5 + Jardine exhaust and K & N triple filter set and am going to install them this year. My plan is to take the bike to a professional dyno after doing this so I at least have a base tune which I know is reliable. Some will say that this is a waste of money if you have Autotune but it's a mental thing for me which increases my confidence in the bike and, in turn, my confidence as a rider. Once I have a base tune I may then get an Autotune if I want to fool around with the air/fuel ratios just for kicks.

Take my word for it. Save your money and let the A/T unit adjust the map. Then accept the trims to make a new map just for your bike. A dyno is needed if you are going to need a special map for your bike. Are you going to race your bike? Quite frankly, let the A/T do it's job. You paid for it.
