Out on Rocket today and broke down....can any1 help???

Limped off A1 and in2 petrol station thinking i was low on petrol.....put it in2 gear and nothing....tried in 2nd and nothing.....again in 3rd and no power or drive.....as any1 got any ideas???

If you select gear - can the bike be rocked back and too? This will eliminate certain areas.

Hope you got home ok. Bet the AA man had a shock - not exactly a scooter.

I got home fine.....just gutted bike is out of action and not sure what problem is.....a few suggestions i have been told.....
D10 spring....clutch..... hydraulics....and maybe a sensor???

I mentioned detent spring earlier. But sensor? That' a new one to me. Just don' panic

not sure bane, i was just "correcting" the D10 spring,

a broken detent spring can cause transmission troubles like yours.
apparently it is quite an easy fix. front engine cover off etc

Bane would pick the sucker up overhead and give a toss!!!
Seriously though, I feel for you whilst cringing that it never happens to me.
