original triumph quick release sissy bar fit on a rocket III classic (no touring)?

Hi,
I like the "quick release" detachable sissy bar

much more than the "standard" one,

but looking at triumph site it is available only as rocket touring accessory :|

So the questions are:

1 - does really quick release sissy bar NOT fit on classic rocket?

2 - why?

3 - if so, is it possible to modify it?

Anybody knows the answers?

We R3T drivers are an elitist bunch. We breath rarified air and bugs don't hit our windshields. Only really sexy women carrying loads of disposible cash and all the finest pharmeceuticals ride on the backs of R3Ts. And we cannot have the most beautiful, sensual, and erotic part of a woman's body - the small of her back - be cradled and carressed by just any sissy bar/backrest. Ours must be detachable. And you can't have one.

It's kind of a tradeoff for the R3T only having 85 RWHP.

..the touring models aren't really real rockets...you know, with that skinny rear tire, and 'normal' looking gas tank..they're really little more than hardly wannabes...pity...tis a shame really..

If you can get into the lower warp numbers you find you wont have to then either. Noticed the screen is cleaner at 140kph up than it is twixt 110-140. That is my excuse and I'm comfortable with it.
