Anyone know offhand the size of oil filter wrench needed for the triumph T1210444 filter? something that can be torqued, i always go by the torque spec's, when i have them......

Triumph tool T3880313, torque to 10 nm. I just remove mine with a screwdriver and hand torque it back on.

but actually I have that part number (the only one associated with an oil change that I didn't have to go searching for in past receipts and on this forum). I am 100% sure that my local dealer won't be stocking that though, and I assume a generic wrench of some metric size will fit... just wondering if anyone knew what that size would was.

Autozone has a 3/8" drive filter socket that fits.

just looking for the generic size of wrench, not the socket drive part- got that covered

for future reference K&N do a filter with 17mm nut on top for this reason. KN-204

I use a universal oil filter wrench Walmart or AutoZone has them . The size your looking for is 64MM

The fram oil filter that I use from wallyworld on and off with two hands, it is harder getting the bloody chrome cover removed

Do you guys stick to the maintenance schedule in the manual, or are you changing the filter/oil a little sooner?
