I usually do my oil my self but
Brought it in to dealer to get serviced and got them to put oil in, decided to check oil and doesn’t even show on my dip stick, I even stuck my finger in and couldn’t feel any oil.
Shouldn’t the oil come to at least the first line and not past the second line?
I phoned the dealer up and they said they put the proper about of oil in.
So I put screw driver in and hit bottom shows about 3 inches of oil?

Changed my oil and filter - all three sump plugs removed. Put in the 5+ litres oil, but can never seem to see much oil on the stick. My guess is I’m not doing the check at the right time - i.e. engine hot / leave for a few minutes/ put bike vertical. Any useful and pertinent advice is most welcome.

This dip stick came with my bike cycle Barn in the states did my oil and it always read in between those two lines, and I started to do my oil and put a 1inch wood under kick stand and that’s How I knew that I had enough oil.
And now it doesn’t read.
Unless all these year it was too much oil. Mitzzy do you have this same dip stick ? Is supposed to read oil?
