Long time Triumph owner 1200Tropy to be traded in for R3R being built 15 10 10

The only unanswered Question I have is What are the head lights like ? ( fog lights are
being fitted at PDI )
I had to uprate the trophy light to 80/100 watts to gain a moderate foot print !

The main reasons I chose the Roadster

No way was I giving away any BHPs or TORQUE
No way was I going to get my hemet in the Touring Panniers (error or what Triumph !)

The lights need help. Use a relay kit to power headlights directly off the battery rather than thru key. that will make them a lot brighter. If you still need more change bulb.

thanks ygransom

thread on uk forum is producing some traffic of note

mind you the bike will be under warranty for 2 years so may have to wait ????

FIT RELAYS

1) if you do the conversion well you'll get more light!
2) If you do the conversion well Triumph wont know!
3) If you do the conversion well your loom wont overheat
4) If you do the conversion well your ignition switch wont burn out.

My R3 is just over a month old. The parts are ordered. I'm fussy about parts.
Look here Vehicle Wiring Products Ltd. Suppliers of auto electrical parts.

In addition I'll probably fit HID to the headlights and the fogs. Additional main beams will get LED. No it's not legal here either!
