I'm excited that this product is as good as advertised. All metal construction and fits easily. I'm hoping to make some vids of my rides.

Saw an add for this today, it got my attention. Interested in your reports.

Love my RAM mount but it’s not very quick to use since I use the silicone strap as a result of my phone flying out of the RAM quad legs and landing in my lap once on the freeway (never mind the speed involved, still not ok).

My concern with this one is it only grips the sides. I would love a small area to slip the bottom of the phone into. I did see that they have a silicon wrap to secure the phone a little better. I may look at that.

I had similar concerns but the pop up holder I have on the back will keep it from sliding down. You could also mount it sideways.

Big PITA with my K1200 is no regular bars, those helibars, or whatever you call them, have nowhere to put anything at all on them. Someone used to make a brake reservoir cover RAM mount for them, but now obsolete. With the R3T you could probably add 3 or 4 accessories.

TechMounts still makes (pricey) mounts for BMWs
