Picked up an '05 R3 Classic last October with known blown tranny. Amoung other things done, now rolling. Did all work myself, have never split a case before.

Welcome to the funny farm from North Texas. That's ambitious when you buy a bike with a bad tranny for the opportunity to rebuild it. Hopefully you didn't put the output bearing in backward like they did at the factory 40% of the time.....(mine was in the 60% group).
