It is a Schrödinger thing. And the problem is that tyre pressures rise unpredictably as they go off!.I hope you do not fill yours with live cats first too, like our resident Dexter @barbagris .
He reckons once the howling stops they are bedded in.
That is what the Nitrogen fill is for - no oxygen so less rot gas and what there is keeps your pressures maintained until the next cat or ten is required.
