Hi Everyone,

Well after a long saga of some old cow parking her Friggin car on my bike, the rebuild begins, new front springs front Racetch, rear springs and shocks from Gazzi 325mm plus big springs for all my awesomeness (I'm Overweight, pmsl), new color, new re trimmed seat, new Kdrive panniers, new towbar from hitch tech, some new grips and shinny bits and pieces, I will post some more photos of the build as I get it going, here is the color though I'm sure people will have lots to say about, (MY BIKE AND I LOOOOOOOVVVVVVEEEEEEE GREEN).........Also going back to my Ape hangers, lol

Dam I hope not hey, I figure I've been having some trouble with the damb thing, this is it's last chance with me, and being green I figure if it breaks down again I can just push it into the long grass and bam gone problem solved....HEHEHE, I'm on my third reg/rec, second accident, this is the only bike ever that has put on the side of the road 3 times, and always far from home, but got all the problems sorted now I think, believe it or not alot of the reg/rec problem was as simple as following the loom from the reg/rec until it joined the main loom and broke off, all it was, some corrosion in the main join, re crimp and solder and have not had a problem since (TOUCH WOOD)....Now to sort the rear brakes, guy's on the forums have given me some awesome advice to start checking into that, fingers crossed....

It's not easy, being green.

Looking forward to seeing pics of it when it is all back together. Personally though, I would have gone for a darker green, sort of British Racing Green, or GB Packers green. ;)

you are a brave man adam79, good on ya, many years ago, i was fixing up a 72 yamaha xs 650, and was thinking i would go green, almost identical to yours, but a good friend of mine freaked out and begged me not to do it. she exclaimed: you cant paint a motorcycle green, for god sakes!!!! dont do it, seriously bad luck!!!! so guess what color i went with?!!! yep... GREEN!!!!! scott

If your superstitious green bikes are said to be unlucky, a bit like bananas on a boat. If your like me and not superstitious it won't be a problem.
