I have problems starting my 2006 rocket it has just had a new battery fitted but i have to turn it over and stop it a couple of times before it will fire up anybody no what could be the problem is is this general

G'day and welcome. Probably need a bit more info about both the problem and also what if any mods on the bike. How does it run once it fires up? What is the idle speed?
