Hi everyone, I just bought a 2014 Touring with ABS brakes and I am looking to move my foot controls forward 3". In order to do that it will require extending the brake line from the rear master cylinder back to the abs unit. I have already done some preliminary exploratory work and It appears the only way to access the brake line connector block is to remove the air box ( the connector block appears to be just underneath) in order to access the brake line connector block. It appears in order to remove the air box will require raising and/or removing the fuel tank to disconnect the air duct from the air box. If anyone else has done this or has any other ideas on how to access the brake line connector without removing the airbox I would really appreciate any suggestions.
Thanks in advance,

Have just replaced damaged rear brake line on 2010 ABS Roadster
Managed to do it from underneath. Undid all but one ABS Mounting bolts and then swung it down enough to undo screw that holds the two hoses together. Two of the brake hoses bolt together and look at first to be a solid block. They are stepped so they fit together and the screw that holds them is accessable from the right hand side after you swing the unit down. A real ***** to get them all together and start the fine pipe thread when refitting. First loosen pipe that fits into the end of hose you want to replace. If you are moving the pedals forward it wont be the rear hose you will be replacing as that just goes to the ABS unit

Holy sh*t, you need to remove the airbox to replace the brake line on a model with ABS?! That's frickin' ridiculous... kind of makes me happy to have an older one, without ABS... until I get to emergency brake in the rain, I guess.
