work in the morning and away at 2 pm do run 450kms, and farting around with the GoPro looking to attach to the screen with suction cup and I looked at the nut at the steering clamp and thought I give it a twist and to my horror it turned.

WTF. Got out the tool kit I had already packed off with the dials handle bars.

Socket set and a wee bit of a tighten to 56lbs that should work.

Been almost a year to the day since I had the front folk seals replaced.

Well 4 days short.

Looks like I will be spending a few hours at the rally going over the bike and checking the bolts and what have you.

To make things worse the front left blinker was hanging out too.

So have taped up both sides to match.

Will have to get a new pair before the triumph world owners bike show in three weeks time.

Had the same thing with Yamaha virago 1100cc been in the shop and 3 days later went back to get them to tighten up the same thing. Did notice that was having a wobble and was only in town riding.
