Hey guys i just noticed that jp cycles has Metzler 888’s in roadster OEM sizes. Is anyone running these? Are they good? I guess the Metzler OEM 880’s are now dead?

NO!
They truly SUCK on a Rocketà

Ive noticed your recommendations with the Bridgestone exedra’s and the reverse road 5’s. Problem is i canT find the road 5’s in that size any more... at nearly $600 for tires i fear the wrong choice.

Looks like Rocky Mountain ATV has stopped carrying them.
I paid $174 for my last one on Kong in July 2018 and $173 for YurMama in August 2019 with an Exedra Max for $160.
I have sent the an email inquiring WTF?
They are small for a rear tire these days and likely a low seller.

I did find them on Amazon:

Also found them at JP Cycles and Revzilla for $198:
Michelin Road 5 150/70ZR17 Rear Tire - 17857
Michelin Road 5 150/70ZR17 Rear Tire - 17857

Just had a me888 put on the back of my 2018. Insurance wanted the same tire that was on the bike but could not find one. Only have 100miles or so on it.
