Lowering R3 Touring

Hi, this has probably been asked before but I'm new to the forum so here it goes. Any suggestions on lowering a 2013 Touring a couple inches? As detailed as possible including parts would be appreciated. Also any valid arguments against it? Thanks!

Lowering the R3T will reduce the lean angle you would be better off having your seat altered.Also you should go to the introduce yourself thread and tell us a bit about yourself before you catch hello from some of the other members.
