Low rider seat and Ikon shocks

I am thinking of putting the Triumph low rider seat and 1" shorter Ikon shocks on my 06RIII. Anybody have any experience with these, and how did it work out?

Dongee, I don't know about the Ikons but I went a 1/2 inch lower with a set of Progressives 440's and it will bottom out with a passenger. With heavy duty springs it doesn't bottom out anymore however the ride is not a smooth.

Dongee, I have a low rider seat and if you are tall in the leg it's not as comfortable as stock seat. However I do like the slightly lower center of gravity the low rider offers and if my legs get crampy I can always use my highway pegs. Plus when i get a sheep skin cover I won't feel AS tall in the saddle if you catch my drift.
