Lost and Found - side cover

Lost my side cover off the highway somewhere between Ottawa and Windsor.
Looked into a replacementand the $$ was crazy.
Returned to Windsor again three weeks later and kept a eye out.
Spotted it off the road near the Milton cut-off.
Crazy lucky, only scratched up a bit.

Ditto on the lottery and lucky find. Yep, replacement parts are stupidly expensive.

Zip ties. Drill a hole in the post on the side cover and attach a zip tie. Use that loop and another zip tie to attach the side cover securely to the frame. You may also want to make sure your small rubber parts that the posts go into are held in place with a bit of silicone. As you found out, you don't want to have to buy a new one, even if you can find them.

Nice find!!..whats the chances of that i wonder?
I lost a megaphone muffler off my old trumphy many many years ago at speed...by the time i had stopped and turned around it was down the bank in the scrub somewhere and i didnt find it...it would have been scratched to buggery tho...
