Long Distance Riders

A bunch of us rode to Stockton Alabama today for the end of the year Long Distance Riders meet, we go every year just to yap with some of the long long long distance riders.
The guy who won for the most miles to get to Stockton was 3841miles the guy left New York and for him to cover 3841 miles he must have followed a greyhound bus, we ate lunch with him then he took off back to New York on his 1995 ST1100.
Some riders had three GPS systems installed and quite a few had the extra fuel tanks so as they can easily ride 800miles non-stop, a fun day even though my measly 260miles round trip was nothing compared to these guys.

I think the 750 and change coming back from Eureka Springs was plenty far enough.

Long Ride

My wife's first real ride with me on our R3Touring was to Biloxi Ms from Ft. Lauderdale FL... her longest day was just 500 miles and the entire trip was 1650 total - not bad for a couple ole farts looking for a unique retirement plan... I think we found it. LOL

I did two certified iron butt rides on my R3T last year...1,000 and 1,500 miles.
