I wanted to share a problem I discovered today.... A bit long winded... Sorry.
So I finally decided to swap out my turn signal lights and tail light with LED's.
Got my new lights in today and swapped everything out. Of course I forgot about swapping my signal Flasher relay... Did some quick hunting on the forum and ran to the parts store for a new relay (EC-35 from Autozone) it was on the shelf next to the bulbs and such.
Got home and popped it in and everything worked great except the left rear signal ....... Swapped the bulb with the other side... Bulb worked... Popped the original incandescent bulb in and it worked. But the LED would not. Scratching my head I decided to swap the wires to the socket..... The LED now works.... Sum *****...... Wires in the left turn signal socket were backwards. Everything works. No diodes needed. Thanks for reading.
