Looking to upgrade exhaust and air intake system. I've heard great things about both ramair and K&N pods. What is your experience? What performs better? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I have ran both, K&N for 3 years - RamAir for 2.
Both work well with my CES. My dyno tuner says the RamAir flows a little better; however my butt dyno cannot really tell.
Check out Two Wheel Dyno and Nels Byersdorf:

Great info and will do thanks!

Just remember that not all K&Ns flow the same. There are little ones that fit under the bearclaw, and some you have to trim the claw to use. The RX4040 flows really well.

I'm not sure what I'm going to do, I have the big 1070s on my Touring, and K&N discontinued the rain covers for them, mine are falling apart.

The ramair, i think is a nicer solution than the K&N small triples. The 4040s, though, are a fantastic solution and can be made to clear the knee with minimal work. 1770s are also very good, and perform well to at least 200hp.
