You put inside a little K&N filter and hang if from the frame by the throttle bodies. Oh and it doesn't have to be a k&n filter what ever the local auto parts store carry's will work like a emego filter brand. As long as the AIT fits in it for protection.
The AIT sensor is important for the tune hence the reason it is located as close to the air filters as possible to measure the air temp going into the filters.
well its sunday here.....winter...raining...on da computor....walkin the dogs in da drizzle...on da computor...log on the fire...Discovery channel on the box...on da computor...yawn!!
I cut some of my wet weather filter cover and put it over my sensor, secured it at the base of the sensor with a small stainless cable tie. Should be good in all conditions.
