Hi guys

R3r 2012 owned since 2017, with TORS and a remap.

I've trolled all over for various clues, but most concerns are false neutrals or dropping out of random gears.

My issue is when I crank her open at 6.5k rpm in second it jumps into Neutral.
No other gear, no false neutrals, and it only happens at absolute max rpm... round about when it should hit the limiter.

Any advice or help on diagnosing the issue would be great.

Thank you

Likely rounded engagement dogs. Only takes one missed gear sometimes. Not good news. Requires engine removal/split cases. Possibly could be a bad detent spring but you would likely be having problems in all gears if it was that.

yep as above..sounds like the dogs have been spun a time too many and rounded the edges making it now progressively worse:thumbsdown: happens a hell of a lot on super bikes as 2nd is normally the full power wheelie gear and 9 times out of 10 has not fully engaged from 1st..motor out and upside down you can split the cases without disturbing the head, this being the case on most bike engines;)
