I'm thinking of a T-bar

Hey guys, I'm thinking of getting a T-bar. This was designed for the standard, do you think it will fit the touring too.

Thunderbike brand shows the one for the standard/classic/roadster does not fit touring. So, I guess not

Not sure but I guess you will have an issue with hitting the tank. I almost made a mistake with the standard bar and hit the tank when putting it back in place and turning it from left to right. I had it installed way too back or low (you get what I mean). I´m happy it was "almost"!

Altitude as in higher risers you mean i think?...yep, they could go a tad higher. Have thought about that myself but then you would need longer cables also. Maybe cut the risers, insert an extension and powdercoat. But the cables would have to be in my possession before i did that. My friend has just bought an Indian Dark Horse and has semi apes on that. I call them semi cos they are directly out in front as you sit on the bike. Very comfortable position i find. Mind you, the seat was built in heaven on those things and with the floorboards it's like sitting on your favourite lazy boy lounger! The hands being out front would be great on a long haul i think.

Do you have the 1.25 or 1.5? Also, i am assuming there is no issue with the stock grips and controls fitting on the bars? Possibly they narrow to 1" at the ends?

Just fitted some of these after waiting 13 weeks to get them. I have a 2005 tourer had a couple of issues yes they fit but i then found that my brake line from brake to where its mounted on the fork was so taught that I had undo and cable tie to forks(See PIC 3&4).Cables do reach but there is not enough slack to hug the bars PIC 2 &3(the bars are so wide in Dia that I,m going to drill a hole and extend the cables though the bars).

1 1/2 and yes they narrow to 1 inch for the grips..i used cable ties to secure cables.
Have just bought a Brand new 2016 Roadster which will be ready on the 22nd so i will be doing it all again...woooohoooo!
