How to Identify bike model from VIN Number in UK

Good Morning one and all,

Bought my Rocket a couple of weeks ago and I'm trying to determine which model it is. It's was first registered in 2007 with a VIN number of SMTTLC10356260250 and engine number 261247. Registration plate has been changed to R23 SCB so no info there. V5 only states its Triumph Rocket but also states 91dB stationary and 79 dB drive-by... not now it's not!! Any info gratefully received.
 
Assuming of course the foot pegs are standard.
Classics have floor boards, two tone paint, saddle bags, screen, sissy bar.
Standard has your pegs, solid or metallic paint or tribal design, everything else can be added.
Both above have three mufflers (2 on right 1 on left).
Roadsters have black paint metallic with or without red or white stripe or matte (solid), ABS brake system, black forks, front wheel bolt hex is on the right hand side, one muffler each side, gear indicator and fuel gauge in the instruments.

Seen a photo of bike when only 3 weeks old. It did have a screen, no floor boards, no fuel gauge, no ABS, front wheel nut is on left hand side! Paint was metallic blue and no saddle bags.
 
This always becomes a major source of confusion due to different VIN code standards worldwide.

UK/Europe and Australia does not use USA check digit at all so coding is quite different except last 6 digits and SMT at start is UK (SM) manufacturer Triumph (T).

The fourth to ninth positions in the VIN are the vehicle descriptor section or VDS. This is used, according to local regulations, to identify the vehicle type, and may include information on the automobile platform used, the model, and the body style. Each manufacturer has a unique system for using this field.
I reckon the 6th character 'C' is Rocket
US/Canada and Australia 6th, 7th, 8th code characters are the model type and fairly sure the 9th digit '3' is the number of engine cylinders while 10th digit '5' is probably shaft drive.

Your 11th character, the digit 6, is 2006 model year in UK / Europe ISO Standard 3779 system used in Europe and many other parts of the world. Mine is A for 2010.
