2018 Triumph rocket III Roadster
Been riding a long time
Looking to find out about any inherent issues of the rocket mine is a 2018 , been looking at this bike for a few years
I had heard there was a lot of granny probkems with the old
Hope all is resolved by now?
Thanks and ride safe
By that I mean just stay alive, ride alert, ride hard

Welcome to the mad house!!

On the new models they’re aren’t any real prevalent problem but a few things do come up now and again.

Couple of things to know right off the bat.

First valve check is moved to 20,000 from 10,000. You’ll find a lot of documentation for 10,000 miles, it’s all old.

When changing tires, use moly lube on the driveshaft splines. It’s a care item not mentioned in manuals, but one that will keep your shaft drive happy for years to come.

Other than that ride and enjoy o/

Welcome. I fall inta similar category. I have been riding since age 15. I have owned Honda, Yamaha, BMW and a few HDs.

My 2014 Roadster is my first Triumph. I love it. Best bike I have ever had.

Welcome from one of the Aussies. Use good quality synthetic oil - your transmission loves it:thumbsup: also be sure with your gear changes mis-shifts under a high load can bend selector forks and round dog gears - just like any other bike really

Welcome from the UK, I had read a few gearbox issues but now just enjoy my bike and never had a problem on my 2013 Roadster. :)
