Hey, Rocket Men,

New member from New Jersey.
Got the beast 3 weeks ago, 1100 miles so far.
Did the oil/filter change at 500 miles, at 900 miles did a full-throttle test run on Rt. 287 between Bridgewater and Morristown.
Smooth as silk to 110, but hit an aerodynamic brick wall at 120.
Was able to feather it to 130 twice, and the tach started shaking like hell!
Crosswinds were blowing me sideways at those speeds so I backed off.
I have the Triumph touring screen. Is this typical?

Hombre is my hero. Beautiful pipes. Lust in my heart for that hardware setup.
I will wait till I'm out of warranty ant then attempt to emulate that model.

Welcome to the forum. Your hitting an "Aerodynamic brick wall" had me thinking you were sporting a Classic windscreen. In the mid 80s, People Magazine had Eddie Murphy listed as America's #1 hero. You might not be surprised where that poll was taken.

Check the phillips attachment screw on the forward of the tach casing.

I am on the fence with the look of the Corbin fairing. It's kinda cool. If it cuts the turbulence, Ill have to start saving pennies, 140000 of them.
