Ride
2012 Triumph Rocket III Roadster
Hey all, Nathan from central WI. I recently snagged a '12 Rocket III roadster from a wonderful gentleman in Nebraska and I'm sad (sort of, not really :)) to say it's driving a wedge between me and my sporty. the HD and I might have to part ways.

I've been riding the rocket for a while now and I'm looking for some advice.
I'm 5'10" with a 32 inseam and even with the stock seat (fairly narrow I think) I have trouble moving it around.
I can reach the ground just fine, I'm just a light dude, not much leverage.

What mods can I do to get a little closer to the pavement? Thanks!

Ikon make shocks that lower the ass....custom make a seat..forward controls would help. Im sure you could lower the front a little with different springs. some of this is what i did to lower mine,

Hello from New Jersey and I love that 70's show!!!
Good luck with ur new ride, great info here, enjoy!!

Hello Nathan and welcome from Virginia. I have the same inseam but ride the Touring thus maybe I am closer to the pavement already. I think a different seat would be my way vice lowering the suspension. Good luck and enjoy the banter here....

Thanks for all the recommendations! I think I'll make some modifications to the stock seat to make it a little bit narrower, I also ordered a set of rivco risers I've heard really good things about them and I do want to relax the posture a little bit.
