2011 Rocket 3 Touring
I just found an amazing deal on an R3 Touring with only 7000 miles. I rode it from Las Vegas to St. George, UT, then it had to be trailered the rest of the way to the Salt Lake City area because of all the snow. This time of year is crazy in Utah. You can have great riding weather in the south while the north is freezing and snowing.
I have been looking for a big touring machine so that I can start taking some longer trips. This Rocket is totally up to the task. It was steady for hours at freeway speed, but still had the power to get moving when needed. It hit 110 mph so quickly, yet was steady and smooth. Amazing.

I also have a daily commuter cruiser which I setup for my tastes and it makes me smile every time I ride it. It's a 2009 Yamaha Road Star 1700. I guess I like the big machines.

Welcome.
Looks like you have some rare dress up parts on your bike. Bag rails, rear fender rail, adjustable driver backrest, quick detatch luggage rack and D and D exhaust. Nice.
Thanks. You have good eyes! I have been trying to figure out what muffler slip-ons the previous owner installed, but I couldn't find any good markings yet. How did you id them as D&D?

Hello and welcome from Mesquite NV, you passed by here. Did you get it at Euro-Cycle in Vegas or a private party?
I have checked out Euro-Cycle a lot. They have a ton of merch. However, this bike came from an individual in North LV, which saved me thousands of dollars in both price and fees compared to going through a dealer.
I'm going to be coming down and going through your area again at the end of the month to ride through places like Valley of Fire and Death Valley.
