Yes it needs to be changed then at every tire change. Lucas synthetic 75-90 is what I use. You don't HAVE to change it at every tire change but might as well since it doesn't take a lot of oil. And while you have every thing off for the tire change it is easier to get too. Clean the magnetic drain plug good before installation.
