Just picked up a 2005 R3 from a neighbor of mine's dad. I didn't even know these existed until they posted the bike for sale on FB Marketplace, and my wife of all people was the one that showed it to me haha (I don't have FB). I came from a Harley Softail Heritage, and when I originally looked at the R3 I told him it was a beautiful bike, but just too big and I thought I'd pass. He dropped his price and I came the next day with cash 
. All it took was one ride and I was in love. My son is buying my Softail from me.
Either way, was doing a lot of research and this forum kept coming up so figured I'd join. Guy I purchased mine from was the only owner, he bought it new and it now has about 24k miles on it. He did have good service records but I want to research a bunch of things about maintenance schedules and see what options you guys have on yours. Anyhow, look forward to chatting here!
