Yet another Aussie welcome Mate.
Mods are a plenty, it all depends on what you want to do!
Some are pulling serious horsepower form the R3 and even supercharging.
Some are leaving performance stock but putting "bling" on.
Others are blackening out the chrome and doing other mods to create a streetlighter look.
Which ever way you go, please feel free to ask the question because chances are someone here has gone down that road before and could offer good advise (or bad)
