Heatshields for Carpenter Pipe

Took a couple of pictures of Art's @imfastoo's exhaust. The heatshields are generic 10.5" heatshields with the curved end, from China. They're $10 on eBay.

I think they fit well, and look like they were made for that pipe.
 
Does looks good. Off topic, while there could you please check which Samson heat shield is compatible with the Sidewinder header? The one the Samson folks thought might be close does not look right and no one on this site seems to know. Thanks.

Does looks good. Off topic, while there could you please check which Samson heat shield is compatible with the Sidewinder header? The one the Samson folks thought might be close does not look right and no one on this site seems to know. Thanks.

Not my bike, but they are Rivco pegs. They are for Goldwings, but a couple of people used them for the Rockets.

Those heat shields look terrific! :thumbsup:
All those ugly springs - not so much.
Will say he keeps them headers clean - or perhaps he seldom rides. :D
 
Those heatshields do look good and do look effective :p

Interesting, both Art and I are missing the chrome cover on the bolt at the very top and back of the motor. I see we both also have the different black manual chain tensioner as well.
