Hi all has anyone fitted the Triumph heated grips that come as standard on the gt to the r. If so is it straight forward or is there a lot of messing around with wires.

Did dealer have to do any PCM updating or did they just work after installing?

They work right outta the box

The heated grips where so easy to fit as the harness is already in the bars. It’s pretty much plug and play and I must say that the heat they give offf is second to non. You also get a heated grip symbol come up on the dash showing which setting they are on. Well done Triumph a really good piece of kit

I still say 30K+ for a TFC, heated grips should have been standard equipment.

How do we remove the right hand twist grip? Which screws do we remove?

Remove outer hex head that holds the weight on. Then there is two screws in the throttle housing. Loosen up enough that you can split the housing and slide out the grip.
