I just fitted new globes to the Rocket and notice that the right light is more yellow than the left and has no high beam is this normal ? I will fit the EB kit in the future but just wanted to know is this correct.

No idea to be honest .. doesn't sound right. Sure Gothlander or Hanso will be along shortly to shed some light on this for you

Maybe this is why the lights where so crap at night , i will have a look at connections again . Info from other forum tells me that both lights should be high and low beam, there must be a bad connection or earth.

Most probably the wrong bulb or you changed the wires on the back of the plug. Check both are the same color configuration as the one that works.
