When choosing a different set of grips for your rocket, how important is it to retain the handlebar end weights that come with the bike. It seems to me their functionality in damping vibration would be insignificant in the total scope of things and most aftermarket grips don't allow for it. After owning a Harley, I can't believe they play a noticeable role in what you feel in the grips. I'm I wrong on this?

bedifferent I installed ISO GRIPS and modified factory bar end weights to fit. Takes a little bit of work but can be done.
Bolt rod
Jam nut
Washers for spacers
Use a longer bolt to go thru bar end weight into a bold rod coupling, little bit of lock tite tighten up real good.
Next use boltrod and spacers to get it on the right plane with the end of the handle bars, with no binding.
Once you get it where it needs to be screw everything together into the bar end weight add some lock tite and screw it into the handle bar and your done. Make sure to use blue lock tite not red.
