Ok, everybody saw Lons grill insert.
I ordered one, and I'm here to tell you,
That man does good work.
It arrived as a glossy Black insert.
I installed it that way, and it looked good.
I took pictures of it.
But It just didn't draw your eyes immedieatly to it
like I thought it should.
I uninstalled it, Bought some chrome paint and painted it.
Took more pictures, all of which are in the photo album,
Pictures of it black, pictures of it chrome.
Tell me what y'all think.
Ya know, I bet for the guys on Red, Yellow, Grey, or Blue,
if they painted it the color of their bike, it'd sure draw attention to it, and Lon will put about anything you want on it.
I think I'm gonna order one with the Patriot Guard logo on it,
and another with the Road Riders for Jesus logo on it,
after all, it only takes 5 minutes to install it.
If ya like the way it looks , give ole Lon an order, I did and I like mine alot.
Take a look at the pictures and see what ya think.

If you go with the PGR logo, make sure to touch base with the state captains as with the current court case, you may be asking for trouble. Ever since that happened, they really tightened up on the logo stuff.

Man, that insert looks awesome!!! How much?

it looks like the worlds the limit in design choices, I had one designed up ( haven't gotten it yet waiting on funds to come in ) and I love the way it looks. I have to agree I am with the PGR as well and someone my have an issue I know I cant wear a PGR patch one the same vest as my SCRC patch, SCRC rules for that one. Think of an idea and make the bike yours. Every accessory we add is turning the factory bike in to a different beast bit by bit

It's amazing the difference between the chrome and black and what it does to the radiator fins' appearance. I would go with the silver as it makes the radiator fins look darker.

How much do these cost?

You'll have to PM Lon for a price.
As far as the PGR goes, check out youtube and type in "strangers on steel horses", that pretty much tells it like it is.
Here, I'll include the link.

Ratboy,
Yea my bike IS filthy.
I ride mine.
Also live on a dirt road.
Looks good after I wash it, as long as its sittin in the yard.
One trip down the road and its filthy again.
Oh well, I bought it to ride, so I guess its use to being dirty by now.
Ted,
Thats what I thought too. Think I'll leave it chrome.

Ratboy, GOOD, That means you been getting some saddle time.:)
Now, Am I gonna be the only one with a custom grill at RAA 4?
Naw, surely not.
I wonder what ideas are gonna show up on the front of our radiators there? Another picture opportunity...
I gotta say, it was the easiest mod I've done.
Way easier than installing the Stebel.:D
