Front mudguard (fender) mod

My oversize front end was generating lift, making bike unstable at triple digit speeds.
So I reduced the clearance between tyre & mudguard at front edge, & vented the rear
like this, bike has been off the clock so it does the job.

Got 2 guards cut one in half front to back dead centre, cut 100mm (4") strip from centre of 2nd guard
Weld the three bits together, cut & shut to alter radius to suit 18"C/F wheel, cut out section for steel mesh, weld mesh in then shape both ends, fill & paint
Still got to get painter to add gold leaf & pinstriping
Took a while.
