front fork seals

Is there a thread about changing the front fork seals /springs showing the tools needed.Cheers

Still lovin' your radiator cover!
Just a thought, you might consider using one of these before launching into a front forks tear down.
NOT expensive, and worth a try. It worked for me on a weeping seal.

Thanks ,I have heard of this but I've got the forks out now and need to fix them Asap ,glad you like the cover so do I.

Have you got the seals? - if not there are an uprated set by Öhlins that fit.

I would (did) personally look for somebody with the tools and pay'em. If you're uprating the springs you'll almost certainly need a mate to help.

Spring compressor, Locknut keeper plate and proper seal seating tools. And also an airgap syringe to get the oil right.

I'm going to try this! My seal only leaks sometimes so this may be helpful.

+1 for a thread on changing a seal. Or should i replace the forks completely?

Now if done it once it's so easy and fitted progressive springs ,don't forget to replace dust seals as well as oil seals on both sides.
