Found gasket under bike

Hello all,
Found this laying under my 2012 Roadster. Was on the ground, near rear of the engine.
Is a rubber like cushion. Any ideas where it came from?

That looks like the grommet that's inserted between the chrome mudguard support rail #7 & 8 and frame. #6 listed below. Might be an extra one that's been stuck in your frame for a few years or one that was never installed. Check your support to see if one is missing. This is from Bike Bandit's website for parts.

There is also a couple of rubber mudguard protectors which look similar to your pic in a breakdown of the frame. #10 in pic

Or it could be from the side cover where you put the key in for the seat release

Ignition switch grommet, looks exactly like mine, and it can get knocked out easily, though mine is a Touring, but looks like identical part.

Or it could be from the side cover where you put the key in for the seat release

Ok, I removed my right side cover after I took my seat off yesterday.

Thanks all, it was the one that fills the void around the seat release.

If a Harley had been parked there before, there would be more that ONE part on the floor.

And an oil stain...lol

It's never good to find parts where you wouldn't expect them or to have parts left over
