Ron, my 06 Rocket as standard has the forward controls.
I prefer the more rear set style of the Roadster so a Friend and I did a straight swap.
Obviously you are wanting to go the opposite way, so look for a complete set of stock earlier controls, the whole assembly, lever on the end of the gear shaft and all linkages.
I simply un-did the brake line joint at the brake light switch, and did a straight, simple swap between the two bikes.

Ther is an after market set that fits both roadster and std pre 2010 models. They only fit without front crash bars. A forum member in Canada didn't like them and has a set for sale still I think in the Classefied forum.
