Fitting spear mini boards to rear

Hi has anyone fitted kuryakyn boards to the rear of a rocket im having trouble finding the right adapters the ones they say to use part 8808 just fall straight down

Do you have the spring washers? (not sure exactly what they are called but they fit either side of the inside of the clevis and offer resistance to prevent it from falling down.)

Hi jason no i dont and no one has mentioned them but also the hole were the pin goes is bigger on the adapter and im thinking there should be a solid stop or something to stop them falling because putting weight on a spring would still flex down to a point
