Fault Code P0505

Hi All,

I have been suffering from the high idle bug for a while now.
Finnaly ot my cable so hooked up Tuneecu and had a look inside my ECU
Tune ECU displays the fault code P0505 which is ISC Stepper Motor/wiring fault
My high idle bug is where once warm the engine sticks at about 2500rpm, but if turned off, or with some twists of the throttle goes away.
I suspect the primary TPS, as I know this is common.
Would anyone mind giving me some advice on this please?

unplug the stepper motor clean the terminals apply soem dialetric grease and plug it back in. you could just be having a bad connection like we do eith the coils and sometimes some of the other plugs on the harness. after you do that clear the fault code do a ISCV reset and ride her to see if she is any better.
