my wife is tall and therefore her legs are too bent for long trips. Is there a system to extend the original footrests or to fix them elsewhere. type of highway footrest ??

We have been looking for a solution to this same problem. Haven’t found anything that is a direct solution. Maybe you can find something close comparing with Harley Davidson passenger foot peg mounts or design a bar that works with the Triumph passenger floorboard and safely moves it away from the bike and down. These are thoughts I have had, but no time to pursue. I have a R3T, so this might not apply to you.

For the newer R3R, I suggest keeping an eye out for the old Honda Magna Peg Lowering kit. You can find something similar for the BMW GS series, and I have seen something similar in a more universal style that allows for a range of extension and angle of rotation. Though you will loose the cool folding aspect on the R3T.

Thanks for your feedback. I had to install something simple on my old roadster. and it was great for herThanks for your feedback. Merci pour votre retour. J'ai dû installer quelque chose de simple sur mon vieux roadster. et c'était super pour elle
I prefer the position of the feet of the R version. At first, I will only install the footrests of the GT version. I will put my feet on it on the highway and my wife will put hers on the footrests of the original R version

Je préfère la position des pieds de la version R. Au début, je n'installerai que les repose-pieds de la version GT. Je mettrai mes pieds dessus sur l'autoroute et ma femme mettra les siens sur les repose-pieds de la version R d'origine
That seems effective for now and what you did on your R3 Roadster looks pretty slick. You might look into raising the passenger seat height by having it reupholstered with a thicker pad. There is at least one person on the forum who did that with their R3 Roadster and looked pretty good.

Here is another style of peg lowerers

Here is a more universal style and excellent quality

Here is the modified seat with additional padding

there is nothing for this motorcycle. we will have to tinker if we want Madame to come with us for long journeys. I will try to adapt these footrests by screwing them under the original footrest. to assemble and disassemble each time ... alas. but when we love we don't count
