Expansion bottle

Anybody got any idea how low a capacity you can go with the expansion bottle - I've seen some reasonable aluminium bottles which have good finish and srart at 0.4L, 0.6l and 1.00L

Obviously the smaller the better

I just pulled my stock bottle out, I can fill it up and measure the volume if you'd like.

I know there are min/max lines that are well below the top of the fill cap, I'm sure there is a reason for that.

Just checked, to the max level is 300cc, bottle capacity is 600cc, but could I get away with having less fluid as the header, say 200cc with 400cc max capacity?
