GOOD NEWS from Triumph!!
Even though my bike is an '05 purchased in Aug '04 and months out of the two year warranty, Triumph is offering to pay 100% of the repair bill!!
The timing gear broke at 30 mph and destroyed the engine. Everything, right down to the crankshaft has to be replaced, including connecting rods, pistons, valves, on and on.
I have not been told about the warranty on the rebuilt engine with only 8,000 miles, however I am expecting at least a one year additional warranty. Will keep you all posted when I know more!!
